To the Monument Valley team at ustwo. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE create a MV2 and do it soon ! This is by far the most challenging, exciting, and fun game I have ever played. Amazing work.

This would get 5 stars if there were more levels. Such a fun and creative game!

As a puzzle enthusiast, I really like Monument Valley, because It contains puzzles within puzzles, and the artwork, music and sounds are a joy. I understand the reviewer who complained that it is too short, however that is the flip side of how engaging it is, and there are so many puzzles that it, even after going through it several times, I still have to stop to figure out how some of the moves go. Also, there are visual and verbal clues that there is a story, a kind of a mystery about who Ida is and what her quest is about. I recommend the in-app purchase called "Forgotten Shores," which contains clues to this story that indicate that Forgotten Shores should be played between IX and X of Monument Valley, though I like to play it between VIII and IX because of what happens in viii of Forgotten Shores (which is my favorite puzzle of all). I am being vague here so as not to spoil this wonderful game for those who have not yet purchased it.

The first thing that needs to be addressed is the art within this game. The animation is beyond gorgeous!!!!! The scenes are so calming and the colors are beautiful! The difficulty of the puzzles are a perfect mix that makes you use your head, yet isnt too stressful (the beautiful colors and art probably help lol). When I first played this, the story line of the game really surprised me. I didnt expect any kind of story to mix in with the puzzles, yet the plot definitely pulled me right in :,). I dont understand how you can create a phone game so beautiful, so interesting, so fun, and so intelligently thought out, that is as perfect as this. And of course I immediately bought the extension, Forgotten Shores (highly recommend as well), and cannot wait for another extension to come out! ;) If youre looking for a challenging brain game that is a little more than a a few buttons with a high score, that has beautiful animation and interesting puzzle within a wonderful storyline, I highly, HIGHLY, recommend Monument Valley, 100%!!!

My favorite game. Its fantastic! An immersive experience and addictive. I can only hope that they produce more.

For $3.99 I guess I expected more levels. If I would have know I would not have spent the money.

This is by far the best game Ive ever played on the iPad. This is also the first review Ive bothered to write for a game. This game is my happy place. Its innovative, fun to play and stunning to look at. The only downside is that its not long enough and there arent enough expansion packs or a Monument Valley 2. Why??????? I love love love this game, please expand!!!!

I feel ripped off, 3.99 for a game that last less than 2 hours. I will not be buying the next story. This game was not hard enough to even start over since I solved it so fast the first time.

Monument Valley is the top in mobile gaming. Aesthetically pleasing, beautiful, and intellectually stimulating all in one. Forgotten Shores is worth the purchase as well. Amazing.

I loved this game, I played for all my wrestling meets, on the bus ride. The game took me days to beat but now its over and Im crying, and I never cry.

This game is a true work art. The style is so sleek and enchanting. Amazing gameplay and totally worth the money.

Good enough to to spend time playing. Im very picky with apps but it was worth my time. 4 dollars doesnt even get u a sandwich and for a game that took over a year to make its not expensive.

After spending $4 for the game, any new levels should be provided at no extra cost.

This is a decent game to start with. It does get boring quick, which lead me to play only in 15 minute spurts. Still with such short playing, I finished the game in about 4-5 days. Pretty short for a paid game.
